Kinship Landing is a locally-owned, boutique hotel located in the heart of Downtown Colorado Springs, steps from the center of the city, restaurants, culture, trail access, and outdoor recreation. Our address is 415 S Nevada Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80903!
If you're here for the outdoors, you'll love easy access and proximity to all the natural attractions (and a group of people who would love to share their knowledge and enthusiastic recommendations with you!)
If you're more of an urban explorer, you've found the perfect place right in the downtown mix. We're literal steps from our favorite coffee and food, restaurants, shopping, and art. We'll show you all our favorite places!
We have our own onsite parking at Kinship Landing! Our parking lot is located on the east (away from the mountains) side of the hotel, and there is a $16/night fee for onsite parking.
Onsite parking is available to all room reservations for a nightly fee night. Parking for Suite and Jr. Suite overnight guests available for $16/night.
For overnight guests, please drop off, park, and enter the property from the East via the alley that runs North to South of the property by turning off of Costilla or Cimarron into the alley. A 24-hour parking fee is automatically applied to every reservation for each night booked. If you will not be parking on site, you may opt out of this fee when booking a stay or by contacting us directly at 719-203-9309 or stay@kinshiplanding.com. There are street and city garage parking options nearby. On site parking is limited to one space per room unless occupancies allow otherwise. Parking on site for a fee is available on a first-come-first-serve basis with hotel guests given first option.
Absolutely, we love to host furry friends. We've got designated rooms and corridors that are ready for all four paws. You'll want to review our pet policy and be sure to book a room marked "Pet Friendly" when you make your reservation.
Emotional support animals (ESA's) are not covered under the ADA as certified service animals. All guests with ESA's are welcome to stay in one of our pet-friendly second floor Jr. Queen and Jr. Queen + Bunk Suites for a $49/night fee. All pet-friendly rooms are subject to availability.
You may notice we don't offer the trendy amenities for hotels -- no in-room hot goat yoga, a spa with cucumbers included, extra fast treadmills, or a triple-high-dive waterslide. Love those things, we just don't have 'em here by design.
Our aim is to get you out the door to explore and enjoy the very best of our region, rather than try and keep you on site. So, we partner with a lot of amazing people nearby and let the pros do what they do best, while we stick to being great hosts, connecters, and offering an inspiring and comfortable place to lay your head.
That being said, we've curated amenities that we've loved the most from all our travels around the world. A few unique Kinship things we think you'll enjoy: Homa, our first-floor bar and cafe, a room for your adventure gear, a lush light-and-plant-filled Greenhaus event space, lockers for all your gear, custom built-in wood furniture in each room, locally sourced art and boutique decor in each room and several different unique lodging options. Check out our rooms here.
Room bookings include two children under age two. Let us know if we can help you out with cribs, playground and kid-approved activity recommendations, or some good, strong coffee in the morning (parenting on vacation, amiright?).
Here are a few suggestions for family-friendly vacation room options:
Double Queen Balcony Suite
Two beds + some fresh air on your own balcony.
Mountain Queen Balcony Suite
Queen bed, two trundles, and a mountain view from your own balcony.
Jr. Queen + Bunk Suite
A fun lofted bed over the main queen.
Family Suites
A queen bed for the parents, and bunks for the kids - all in one room.
Oh, can you! You definitely won't need a telescope to see Pike's Peak, Mt. Rosa or Cheyenne Mountain from your room. I remember when my cousin first saw the Rocky Mountains when visiting from out of state -- 100 miles east of here.
At Kinship, you are literally minutes to the front range of the Rocky Mountains and so close you can see the shadows on the ridgelines. The mountain views are epic, and 14,115' Pikes Peak (dubbed America's Mountain for inspiring the song "America the Beautiful") is front and center.
Pro tip: Choose a Mountain View room when booking so you can take in the famous watercolor Colorado sunsets from your bed, not just our first floor. You won't regret it.
Sure can! The event of your lifetime deserves a venue that fosters life's highlights. For your partner, your in-laws, your grandma, and your friends. Kinship is here take the stress off of you and make your entire guest list say, "that was epic". Whether you're planinng a rehearsal, ceremony and reception, post wedding brunch, or a whole hotel takeover, our wedding venue & all inclusive options are the way to go.

Oh yeah! We want everyone to land comfortably with us, so making our hotel ADA friendly was a top priority from the beginning. We've consulted with Olympic athletes, state representatives, and good pals to offer an ADA option for each room type as well as ADA accessibility in the first-floor layout and design. And we are always open to improving the ADA experience, so please let us know what we can to make your booking and staying experience great.
What's the story on the Camping Room?
Q: How many camp spots do you have?
A: We have one (1) camping room! This room accommodates one (1) private party of up to 6 people. As many tents as a group of 6 feel comfortable using can be used on that camp room.
Q: What if it rains or I get cold?
A: What if you were camping in the mountains far from civilization? Prepare like you would for that. This is an outdoor camp spot! There is a small area that is covered with an overhang/roof as well as an indoor bathroom.
Q: How much is it?
A: A night in the Camp Room will cost ya $89/night + tax!
Q: How many people are allowed?
A: 6 adult guests are allowed and up to 2 children under two. People under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Q: What if I feel lost, hungry, lonely, or afraid?
A: You can text us, but remember unlike in the Weminuche Wilderness, you have access to our first floor full bar and cafe by simply descending 40 vertical feet via a class 2 staircase.
Q: Does this include a bed, warm sleeping stuff, a tent, teddy bear, or any other gear?
A: No. You should prepare to bring everything you need to be comfortable in the great outdoors. Any images of the camp deck including gear you may have seen are simply a snapshot of others having a great time using their own gear. Earplugs available by request.
Q: Okay, so what does it include?
A: Bluetooth speaker connection, a flat turf camping surface (considered winning the lottery in many camping areas), heated bathroom with sink, shower, and toilet, towels, soap, running water, views of Pikes Peak and the Front Range, the chance to make an epic memory and live to tell the tale, fresh air, contactless entry, bear free zone, door lock.
Q: Can I rent gear?
A: We currently only have hammocks available for rent, but in the very near future you will be able to rent a fleet of gear. At this time and you will need to provide your own gear - this is a great way to practice setting up your own gear before heading out into the wilderness.
Q: Are there any other fees?
A: If you leave it yucky, a $50 cleaning fee will be applied. We follow strict Leave No Trace principals so consider it great practice enjoying the backcountry responsibly.
Q: Are pets allowed?
A: No. This is part of what helps keep this camp spot pristine. But furry canine friends are welcome in some guest rooms!
Do you have discounts like Military or AAA?
We do not have AAA, AARP or any other kinds of discounts, but we do have a Military/First Responder promo code (call to learn more). Also, check out our Special Offers tab on our website for any current promos!

Our online booking platform shows all of our available rooms in real-time. If your desired room type is not listed, it means that it's already been booked for that date! We only have 41 private rooms and they tend to sell out fast!
I'm trying to book a room in a wedding block and it won't work - why?
